Internal medicines

Psychosomatic theory recognizes that the mind can create illness in the body and vice versa. The seven body constitutions and seven mental constitutions are described: Vayu (air or energy) Pita (fire) Kapha (water), vayu-pita, vayu-kapha, pita-kapha and a combination of all the three (tridosha). Health is seen as a balance of biological humors where disease is an imbalance of humors. Ayurveda create balance by supplying efficient humors and reducing the excess one.

Additionaly, there are over 2000 medicinal plants classified in India’s materia medica. A unique therapy known as panchakarma ( 5 actions) completely removes toxins from the body. This method reverses the disease path from its manifestation stage, back into the blood stream, and eventually into the gastrointestinal tract (the original site of the disease ). It is achieved through special diet, oil massages and steam therapy. At the completion of these therapies, special form of emesis, purgation and enema remove excess from there site of origin. Finally, Ayurveda rejuvenate – rebuilding the body cells and tissues after toxins are removed.
